Me and my monkey

I've been wanting to understand flash lighting more; right now it is still so intimidating. But the best way to learn is by trial & error, so last week I dragged out my flash and softbox. I decided to try self-portraits, not caring about how I looked- the point was to learn about directional lighting and work with flash exposure. Little Buddy was very interested in the whole set-up, especially when he saw my remote! I convinced him to jump in the photos with me- these are the good ones :)
